CECISNOW - Artist

Ceci is a mixed-media artist from Scotland, based in Barcelona, whose work explores emotion, resilience, and the human experience. Painting with bold colors, acrylics, spray paint, markers, and inks, she blends graphic figures, abstract forms, and movement to process turbulent emotions and make sense of the everyday. Self-taught, having studied art in her youth, she is inspired by diverse cultures, world music, and the expressive power of art when dealing with intense human emotion. She uses vivid colour, layering, and simplified symbols to express emotion, display hidden truths, and acknowledge the masks we wear - creating art to invite reflection & connection through our own chaotic humanity.
